Colour & scheme design
Where most jobs should start. We build a scheme across the whole space — walls, ceilings, trim and doors — and brush samples onto your own wall to view in real light.
AK Painting designs and delivers paint schemes for homes, offices and shop units across Singapore. We help you choose the colour and the finish, prepare the surface properly, and hand the space back clean on the day we said we would.
A single feature wall and a whole commercial unit get the same survey, the same masking discipline and the same walkthrough at handover.

Where most jobs should start. We build a scheme across the whole space — walls, ceilings, trim and doors — and brush samples onto your own wall to view in real light.

Living areas, bedrooms, ceilings, corridors and stairwells. Cracks filled, edges cut in by hand, two topcoats as standard and a third on strong colour changes.

Landed façades, boundary walls, gates, grilles and metalwork, coated with weather-resistant systems chosen for Singapore's rain, humidity and glare.

Full-unit repaints timed around your move-in, tenancy change or renovation handover. Occupied units are worked room by room so you can stay put.

Offices, clinics, salons, cafés and shop units painted overnight or across a weekend, so the shutters go up on time and your floor is clear before trading.

Wallpaper hanging and removal, limewash and textured finishes, stencilled and blocked feature walls, and colour-drenched rooms where trim matches the wall.

Peeling paint, hairline cracks, water-stained ceilings and mould in the usual corners — treated, sealed and made sound before any topcoat, or it comes straight back.
Colour gets all the attention, but sheen decides whether you are wiping a wall in a year or repainting it. Find your room down the side and read across.

Higher sheen means more washable and more forgiving of scuffs, but it also shows every imperfection in the surface underneath — which is why prep matters more on satin and gloss than it does on matt.
An indicative full repaint of a 4-room unit. Larger homes and commercial units run longer, but the sequence never changes — and you will know each evening where we are.
We measure up, check the existing coating for damp, cracks and mould, and brush your shortlisted colours onto the wall to view in daylight and lamplight. You get a fixed written quote.
Furniture moved and wrapped, floors sheeted, sockets, skirting and frames masked. Nothing is opened until the room is fully covered.
Scrape, sand, fill and patch. Stains sealed, bare and repaired areas primed. The slowest stage, and the one that decides how the job looks in year three.
Ceilings first, then walls, edges cut in by hand and fields rolled and laid off in one direction. Left to cure properly rather than rushed into the second coat.
Second topcoat across the field, then doors, frames and skirting in their own finish. Third coat where a dark colour is going over a light one.
Masking lifted, floors swept, furniture returned to position. We walk the unit with you, mark anything you flag and correct it before leaving.
Indicative only. Occupied homes, heavy repair work and strong colour changes add time — the schedule for your job is confirmed in writing before we start.
